Chapel Dulcinea is a stunning place to have a wedding, every inch of it is to die for! Overlooking the gorgeous Texas Hill Country Amanda and Stanley could not have picked a more beautiful location for their wedding day.
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, I truly believe that. I think the words rain and wedding strikes fear into most brides hearts, but I cannot even begin to describe the emotion and intimate feel this massive storm system delivered for Amanda and Stanley’s wedding.
As I pulled up to the location I could not believe just how beautiful Chapel Dulcinea was, just jaw dropping beautiful. I got my gear together and it started to rain, then Amanda arrived and the rain stopped. The girls got ready in the adorable little bridal room, and Amanda slipped in to her incredible vintage style dress. Stanley and the guys simultaneously were getting ready in the grooms cabin. We had a few hiccups when Miss P, Amanda and Stanley’s daughter refused to put on her dress, but promises of pictures with Lambie helped convince her.
It was then time to make their way to the Chapel Dulcinea. As we started down the long trail to the chapel the wind start to pick up and few raindrops started to fall. Once under the cover of the chapel the skies grew dark and the wind continued to pick up, but the rain continued to hold off. With the skies darkened the chapel turned on their gas lamps, the guitarist played soft music and the wind howled all around us I have never felt a more intimate space for a wedding. The ceremony was perfection and so touching. These two were surrounded by so much love and support.
Under the cover of the chapel we captured some great photos of the wedding party and familes. The dark storm clouds made for a beautiful backdrop as we captured a few intimate moments for Amanda and Stanley. Just as we were finishing up torrential rains started and we were able to just able to catch them as they kissed in the rain, what an amazing shot!
It was time to make our way to the Steiner Ranch Steakhouse to their intimate, beautiful reception! As these two entered they were greeted with an amazing double rainbow. The night was filled with toasts, speeches and so much love. I truly felt that Amanda’s dad was looking down upon us.
We were so honored to be apart of this beautiful wedding day.
See for yourself how perfect it truly was!
