Summer is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She was referred to me by a mutual friend and we instantly clicked. I joined her over in Louisiana for her amazing bridal sessions. Yes you read that right sessions as in two lol. The first half of the session we headed over to Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville, LA. and next we ventured over to Summer and Adam’s wedding venue The White Magnolia in Kentwood, LA
I want to share what Summer wrote about her dress and share session number one with you all.

Summer: “Growing up, my mom and I were avid “Say Yes to the Dress” watchers. I have always loved the gorgeous lace, designs, beading…everything about wedding gowns. I always had said I would travel to New York to find my wedding dress at @kleinfeldbridal but little did I know, that my dream gown was right in my hometown at Ashley Renee Bridal!
I was engaged for 3 weeks when I attended my first bridal show at my dream wedding venue The White Magnolia. As we walked inside the venue and up the stairs of the balcony, Ashley Renee Bridal had two gowns displayed on mannequins at the top of the stairs. My mom was walking in front of me, so she spotted them first. She gasped and stepped aside because she instantly knew that was my dream wedding dress, and she was right! As soon as I laid my eyes on that gown, I just knew it was the one. It was the “Loretta Lynn” style wedding dress that I have been dreaming of for years! I was in awe over this dress, and schedule my appointment 3 weeks later. With all of the closest ladies in my life, I went wedding dress shopping for the first time! I had no doubt in my mind that this Allure Bridal dress was the one. It was the very first dress I tried on at my appointment. The moment I walked out of the dressing room and in front of the mirrors, I instantly knew it was coming home with me! It WAS the dream “Loretta Lynn” gown I had been searching for! It was exactly my size and fit me like a glove. It is crazy to say, but y’all this dress was made just for me! I walked out the door of that bridal shop with the largest smile on my face and my dream wedding gown in my hand!
For a year in a half, that gown hung in my mother’s closet, and I must have tried it on a dozen times because I was just so in love with it! Fast forward to March 9, 2019, the most special and perfect day of my life. I was FINALLY marrying the man of my dreams in the dress of my dreams😍 and I had never felt more beautiful. I am so thankful for Heather Purvis Photography for capturing all of the special moments so I can cherish and reminisce on these memories forever!
(P.S. I sure hope Loretta Lynn Official approves of my wedding gown choice, since she was my inspiration!)”
